In the region of Drôme Provençale, La Fabrique got its name from a silk-production site dating from the end of the XIX^th century.

The aqueduct would bring the water, source of energy, to the seven weaving loom settled in the building called “La Filature”. This is the building dedicated to the exhibition center.

In front of La Filature, another building, “La Magnanerie”  accomodated the farming of silkworms, fed by the leaves of the mulberry tree nearby.  It has now become a large lodge.  The “chèvrerie” (goat house), that used to be a farm, dominates the whole.  It now houses two artists’s workshops.

The oldestt part is La Bastide, dating from the XVIII^th century, and is now the owners' house.

The site is located in the heart of the contryside, along a little river, Le Leyne where wild trouts can be found.

The spot where morel can be found will be kept secret.
